An old rivalry in Florida takes on a new level of excitement as the red hot Miami Hurricanes face off against the Seminoles of Florida State; and Mike tries to convince us of all the reasons FSU is over hyped. This week the Toe Meets leather crew talks about another exciting week of college football. The Volunteers continue to give us some of the most exciting finishes to games you can imagine. Washington proves they are no joke in the PAC-12. We will never live down how wee picked against UNC going to Florida State. Last but not least we talk about one of the most exciting games of the year between two Heisman candidates as we recap Louisville at Clemson.

Week 5 Predictions: Top 10 Matchups Everywhere!

Week five of college football we have 3 matchups between top 10 ranked teams. Stanford is battling Washington for the top position in the Pac-12, Wisconsin goes to the big house at Michigan to try and prove their worth, and Louisville aims for a potential top spot in the country going on the road to Clemson.

Also on the docket Tennessee is looking for an impressive win between the hedges against division rival Georgia. Georgia Tech once again face Mark Richt, except this time he leads the Miami Hurricanes into Bobby Dodd stadium. Navy and Airforce kickoff the battle for the commander and chief trophy.

Week 4 Recap: The State of Georgia has no good teams, and Les Miles loses his Job

This week we talk about fantasy football... yes really. After getting a bit sidetracked Andrew, Nigel, and Logan talk about  how Auburn continues to ruin lives. Their newest victim Les Miles will have to find a new team as LSU no longer wants him.

We talk about how both Georgia Tech and UGA lost this week, in terrible fashion. Both teams showed similar struggles on the O-line and will need to bounce back this week in tough conference matches.

Wisconsin continues to surprise, and Tennessee continues to mystify... seriously how does Tennessee keep winning these games?

Week 4 Predictions: Clemson comes to Town, and the SEC gets interesting

This week we bring on honorary guest, and Clemson graduate TIM! yes that Tim, the one named Tim. We discuss a few big matchups on this podcast. Everyone agrres that UGA will not stand a chance against Ole Miss this week, how Arkansas @ TAMU will turn into another ridiculous Overtime game, and how UF @ Tennessee will in one way or another lead to a 3 way tie in the SEC East.

Of course we’re going to talk about the Clemson @ Georgia Tech, if you look at the rankings its pretty obvious which way the game should go but the GT homers have more than just belief in their team to back up picking GT at home (except Andrew because he’s a bitch).

Week 3 Recap: It’s Lamar Jackson’s World, you just live in it.

Yes, this was from two weeks ago. we felt Lamar Jackson’s awesomeness bared repeating

Despite what Louisville wants to believe there were other college football games this Saturday. Don’t worry, we talk plenty about Louisville’s freak of nature QB Lamar Jackson; but lets not forget about Alabama’s struggles on the road at Ole Miss, All the service academies currently being undefeated, Iowa losing to an FCS team, and the Big 12 slowly imploding.

Andrew declares Army as being the early favorite to win the commander and chief’s trophy (trophy for best record in the service academies). Nigel expects UGA quarterback Jacob Eason to be replaced as a starter in the near future. Tommy brings up some interesting (but ultimately useless) stats on FGs that have nothing to do with the Ohio Bobcat football program.

Andrew’s Fish report strays away from Kansas (has nothing to do with their tendencies to lose I assure you) and also highlights Patrick Mahomes at Texas Tech who went under the radar this week. Nigel gives us his stock market update, and Logan is present.

There can be only one... winner

The whole crew is here to give their week 3 picks. Elizabeth returns with high hopes of improving her 8-2 record of correct picks. The key match up in the PAC-12 may decide the champion of the conference, find out who we pick in USC v. Stanford. It's FSU v. Lamar Jackson in the ACC this week. Can Louisville pull out a win at home and prime themselves for a potential playoff run? Is anyone crazy enough to pick against BAMA? Week two was a rollercoaster ride for college football fans. There were plenty of close calls and upsets that no one saw coming. In this cast, the Toe Meets Leather crew recaps the week 2 action.

Week 2 Predictions

I've been told the blood is just for show... not sure I believe that.

It may be impossible to follow the previous week of college football and still look good. While week 2 may not look to be as exciting as week 1 there are still plenty of big college football match ups that the Toe Meets Leather team are looking forward to.

This week we highlight Arkansas v. TCU, The Holy War (BYU and Utah), Washington State v. Boise State, South Carolina v. Mississippi State, Penn State v. Pitt, and of course the big match up at Bristol between Tennessee and Virginia Tech.
